'Lead Metallurgist'

A major EPC company in the Middle East requires a number of Metallurgists to take part in projects in the Middle East. Principal Engineers, Technical Specialists and Discipline Managers are required and candidates should have a minimum of 17 years experience.

The successful candidates shall have in depth knowledge and hands on experience in the following areas:

- Materials selection for CPU (Central Processing Unit) and pipelines
- Corrosivity calculations
- Cathodic protection
- Inhibitor technology
- Paints & Coatings
- Insulation
- Welding & inspection procedures
- Chemical cleaning
- Fabrication technology
- Sound knowledge of all the international codes

Minimum requirements for this role include the following:

- Graduate in Metallurgy or Corrosion Engineering.
- At least 17 years experience in the Oil & Gas field in conceptual, FEED & EPC contracts.
- Candidates with experience in Petrochemical plants may also apply.
- Experience in LSTK projects (contract or package) would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
