Rig Engineer Requirements:
· Mechanical Engineer 3 to 5 years in the field
· Drilling rig experience on a floating rig preferable
· Able to work independently
· Think out of the box
· Self-motivator
· Leadership qualities
· AutoCAD
· Microsoft Projects
· Microsoft business suites (excel, word a Must)
· Shipyard experience conversions and upgrades a Plus
Candidate must be a field person, able to go onto the rig and work with crew to develop work scopes, complete work packs and work with the shipyard personnel to develop and understand the work scopes. Interact with Vendors, on specific projects/job tasks. Review the job quotes and make recommendations to the Rig Management. A team player who can work with the Project team and assist as necessary to complete the job on time and in budget. Assist in cost control, cost tracking and budgeting of operational side of shipyard period. Ensure the Microsoft Projects Plan is updated and kept current throughout the project time line. Close out the project plan and detail costs, and highlight areas of improvement.

Job location: Subic Philippines
Rig : Moored Drillship
Working hours/days: 6 days a week 10 hours a day average
