-Senior Pipeline Engineer-

Currently we require 1(one) position for Senior Pipeline Engineer with more than 12 years experience in offshore pipeline design The qualifications required as shown below :

Experience and Qualifications:
Proven relevant offshore pipelines design experience
Chartered Engineer/BSc/ BEng/HNC or equivalent relevant professional qualification
FEED experience required, with particular emphasis on offshore pipeline design including a significant number of the following aspects: routing; wall thickness design; on-bottom stability; free-span assessment; crossing design; upheaval/lateral buckling analysis; reliability based design; installation analysis (S-lay, tow methods); riser design; pipe-in-pipe / bundle design; pipeline protection design; tie-in design; cathodic protection design; riser stalk-on; J-Tube pull for cables/umbilical; trenching methods and analysis; survey requirements; installation engineering; construction specifications; installation methods and requirements for HPHT pipelines including OOS.

Sound experience of pipeline design and analysis requirements:
-Familiarity with international codes standards and industry guidelines
-Experience in risk assessments with exposure to QRA an advantage
-Installation experience an advantage
-Russian and Arctic design experience an advantage
-Apply relevant company, project, national and international standards

Responsibilities and Duties:
Undertake activities as described
Execute work in compliance with project requirements and as per quality management systems.
Prepare design calculations and documents including, but not limited to reports, studies, specifications and data sheets.
Comply with project procedures and standards
Apply relevant company, project, national and international standards

General Activities:
Responsible for execution of the following activities:
-Offshore Pipeline FEED Studies
-Route selection, survey and input/checking of pipeline drawings
-Offshore Pipeline Design Calculations
-Supervision and guidance of Pipeline Engineers as required
-Review of Company supplied design documents, specifications and construction procedures
-Pipeline pre-commissioning and commissioning
-Review/develop construction specifications
-Review/develop pipeline equipment and linepipe fittings specifications, data sheets
-Knowledge of preparation of technical requisitions, technical bid evaluations, data review and co-ordination with vendors
-Interface with other Discipline Groups
-Possible site visits for reconnaissance, routing, interface meetings,
-Review of multi-discipline documents relevant to offshore pipelines and their associated onshore sections and above ground installations/ tie-ins.
-Input to cost estimates and schedule updates

Personal Competencies:
Must possess strong interpersonal skills to be able to co-ordinate in a multi-discipline environment
Ability to communicate with Project Team members
Software Knowledge: MS Office, MathCad, experience with finite element software (e.g. Abaqus, SAGE Profile, Autopipe, Offpipe).
Report writing skills
Presentation skills an advantage
