'Principle Electrical Engineer'

A Major EPC Contractor requires 2 Principle Electrical Engineers and 2 Technical Specialists to join them on a permanent residential basis in Sharjah, UAE.

Excellent knowledge of sound engineering practice in oil and gas industries. In depth knowledge with standard international specifications and codes i.e. IEC. IEEE, NEC, API Capable of checking and guiding the discipline in complex design issues and advise HOD on technical upgrading and implementation Capable of providing complete coverage on Electrical Engineering and interface with other disciplines for the Project / Proposal. Good administrative skill and sound knowledge in work process involved in EPC projects. Actively encourage career development and progression of electrical team in home office and offshore design centres. Good Knowledge of Safety and Quality Procedures. Job/Cost Impact expert.

Suitable candidates will have a 4-yr Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 20 years of related petrochemical experience preferable from a background in working for consultancy organisations in the EPC or the Oil and Gas Industry. Professional Engineer registration may be required.
