ASSISTANT ENGINEERING MANAGER
Batam based, Permanent status

Qualifications
1.Minimum of three years mechanical and fabrication experience.
2.Used to working with a recognized safety program.
3.Experienced in working with ISO quality standards.
4.Experienced in preventative maintenance and fabrication techniques.

Special Skills Required:

·Problem solving ability, route cause analysis
·Good interpersonal skill.
·Mechanical design experience.
·Proven management capability (3 – 5 years)
·Strong independent work ethic.
·Engineering design experience.
·EPC project management experience including administrative and accounting functions.
·Consensus builder/results oriented.
·Strong leadership and communication skills.
·Strong computer literacy over a broad range of applications

Duties
& Responsibilities
·Assist in implementing the capital plan from the preparation of AFE’s and the execution plan through the installation commissioning and process trial work. Ensure that the equipment meets the performance specifications, budgets are not exceeded and that the objectives of
the acquisition are achieved.Source and commission capital equipment & projects.
·Assist in plan and organize engineering and design activities, prioritizing work consistent with plant schedule requirements
·Assist in the supervision of daily activities of the Engineering Department to ensure efficient use of the manpower available.Annual performance appraisals
·Prepare budgets for department
·Participate in annual strategic planning
