The main responsibilities are to supervise the installation, maintenance, repair and testing of a wide range or electrical equipment (including LV, MV and EHV) generators, motors, transformers, cables, control panels, power distribution system including modern microprocessor based protection relays, Integrated protection and control systems and associated switchgear in the plant. Monitors work execution and provide guidance to ensure conformity to statutory and company regulations. Deals personally with more complex maintenance and participates in shutdown and turnaround maintenance and planning activities.
Suitable candidates will have completed technical secondary education followed by 3 years higher diploma in Electrical Engineering with 8 years experience in the installation, repair, testing and maintenance of a wide range of electrical equipment, preferably in an oil/gas or petrochemical industry.
