Job Purpose:

* Sources material availability
* Activates process to meet operational constraints.
* Ensures safe, efficient, and continuous activities within operational and administrative needs by liaising with Operations, Maintenance, Jetty dispatcher and Operations Support Services

Roles and Responsibilities:
* Review daily plan and requirements, source from Maximo, check material availability to see if operational needs can be met.
* Maintain accurate material stock in system to satisfy audit requirements.
* Inspect all Receipts items against documentation received and communicated with each user group for its clearance and provide audit trail.
* Ensures all Goods Returns are accompanied by Transfer Orders/Forms with appropriate Notifications and Material Manifests in a timely manner by coordination Inventory Value, Inventory Level and PM Order schedules.
* Ensure all material transport equipments are returned in a timely manner.
* Support all user groups and procure material in a timely manner avoiding any downtime.



Mechanical Rotating Engineer - 1072 (Ref: POSEU827)

Reporting to: Technical Support Manager

Role:

Managing and supporting the day-to-day maintenance of the onshore and offshore mechanical and rotating systems. Ensuring that the facilities integrity, reliability, availability and maintainability of the relevant mechanical, lifting, rotating equipment are optimised, so that production targets can be achieved. Integrating maintenance change and control through condition monitoring implementation and analysis using best practice maintenance tactics. Provide first line onshore support for the planning, execution and re-prioritising of the maintenance strategy implementation of planned and corrective maintenance. Managing the relevant onshore vendor activities, materials, spares and performance. This position is based at Great Yarmouth.

Responsibilities:
* Technical support to operations personnel for planned and corrective maintenance of mechanical, lifting and rotating systems and equipment
* Mechanical engineering input to minor project work
* Ensure legislation, company policy, procedures and Safety Management System is followed in all work undertaken
* Monitors and records the performance, failures and serviceability of all mechanical plant, associated mechanical control systems and equipment and reports on the activities undertaken
* Development of the MAXIMO maintenance management system and all related documentation including planned maintenance routines, risk assessments, isolation procedures, etc
* Development and implementation of the condition based, non-intrusive
maintenance strategy for mechanical equipment
* Analysis of condition monitoring data and compilation of
recommendations and reports
* Technical authority for all mechanical related activities
* Implements, integrates and reviews planned maintenance programmes in order to meet statutory and vendor requirements, ensuring that all work is accurately recorded
* Planning and co-ordination of mechanical shutdown work
* Ensures all third party support performs in accordance with the contract deliverables and reports on progress
* Is familiar with the appropriate statutory legislation, Safety Case, COMAH Case and Safety Management Systems used to support the role
* Ensures all mechanical equipment in hazardous areas is maintained in accordance with the appropriate legislation, guidelines, assurance and verification practices
* Budget responsibility and control
* Form part of the SNS Emergency Response Team as required by Company Emergency Response Procedures.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
* Educated to Degree level or equivalent standard in a Mechanical or Integrity engineering based discipline.
* Previous in depth experience of mechanical and rotating equipment maintenance, condition monitoring and control system interfaces
* Relevant offshore/onshore experience of hydrocarbon processing and utilities plant and associated legislation
* Well organised individual with the ability to plan ahead
* Effective communicator at all levels and with external parties
* Awareness of commercial and cost control issues
* Demonstrates sound judgement and fact based decision making
* Effective team contributor delivering against schedule driven targets and deadlines
* Good Project Management skills
* Understand importance of process & procedure and the associated accuracy requirements.
* Attainment of CPP
