Operational Geologist Opportunities

A top-tier Oil & Gas exploration and production company is in immediate need of Operational Geologists

To be considered, the MINIMUM requirements are:

1) 5 - 20 years out of school

2) currently employed in a similar role

3) BS or MS in Geology or Geophysics

4) majority of experience US onshore with an E&P company

A person in this role will successfully:

• Provide geological support for execution of drilling programs. Propose drilling/workover locations, offer geo-prognoses, identify geological drilling hazards and conduct objectives data collection.

• Provide geologic input to the regulatory aspects of field development, reservoir engineering aspects, completions engineering, and operational prioritization.

• Have a foundation knowledge in petrophysics, sedimentary geology, structural geology, subsurface mapping, field operations (such as well-site work and familiarity with drilling operations, directional wells, wireline logging operations-quality control and MWD/LWD tools), risk analysis, reservoir engineering, seismic interpretation, and economics.
