Quality Coordinator (Civils)

A major operator currently has an active and urgent need for a Quality Coordinator (Civil experience) to join its team in Brisbane before moving to Papua New Guinea on a rotational basis.

Roles and responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to the following:

- Advises and informs Project Manager on Quality issues, status and metrics.
- Ensure establishment and proper implementation of adequate control processes within the subproject Project Team, as stipulated in the Project Plan and the Project Quality Plan.
- Review contractors quality audit schedule, monitor contractor’s audit program, and participate in selected audits
- Review and approval of EPC contractor’s Quality Plan and Inspection and Test Plans (ITP's)
- Review Quality Plan of suppliers of critical equipment / material in conjunction with PQC
- Ensure contractor is performing quality reporting per the contract
- Review metrics from PQC, Site Quality Coordinator (SQC) and Engineering team and identify and assist in resolution of issues
- Review and approve contractor’s quality organizations.
- Develops and coordinates Subproject Audit Schedule, conduct site audits within sub-projects and assist PQM in conduct of project audits, as needed.

- Bachelor or Associate degree in Engineering or Science preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience associated with Quality Management in Quality Assurance and Quality Control, coordination of quality activities within Engineering, Construction, Commissioning and Start-up projects of various facilities in the Oil and Gas Industry.
- Minimum 5 years experience in management of project quality systems
