Artic Experienced Facility Engineer

The Client is looking for a Facilities Engineer to manage smaller offshore projects in Alaska. The ideal background will either be Civil or Mechanical Facilities Engineering in an Arctic Environment.

The ideal candidate must have previous experience of working in arctic conditions to be able to understand the challenges they will face in Alaska.

Ideally we are looking for a local Alaskan as no relocation or overseas package is available.

Reporting to the Senior Facilities Engineer, the Facilities Engineer will work closely with the Production, Engineering and Field Operations Teams to support facility construction projects in all operating areas.

Responsibilities:
Trouble-shooting and consulting on facility process problems
Scoping studies for facility process modifications and enhancements to improve facility performance, reduce costs and enhance production volumes.
Scope, design, engineer and execute facility related projects

Qualifications:

A minimum of seven years related experience in oil and gas projects
Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline
Proven project management skills as it relates to development projects.
Strong team player within a multidisciplinary environment
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Must possess a solid working knowledge of all HSE and regulatory requirements for the facility engineering discipline.
Must be willing to travel and manage at the field site level.
