The role is based initially in either Paris / The Netherlands / Houston for 6 - 8 months followed by a return to the Paris office.
Rate will be based on an all inclusive daily basis in Euros.
Duties include;
Assist the Offshore Engineering Coordinator in ensuring that the welding is carried out according to the Project specifications; ensure that the design of installations meets the Contract requirements.
Supervise the contractor for welding engineering activities. Guide the design of the installation by close participation in the design activities, review and comment on the validity of the welding-related documents and drawings.
Guarantee the quality of welding-related studies. Supervise the contractor for welding engineering activities. Guide the design of the installation by close participation in the design activities, review and comment engineering documentation.
Participate in technical meetings, challenge the Contractor, supervise and promote cost saving solutions in the design.
