Position: Contract Engineer
Location: Noida
Qualification: BE / BTech in Mechanical / Chemical
Experience: 5+ years


Client: The Company is an EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) PARIS based company which provide the services in Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals industries. It Construct the project for refinery plant like Turn Key Project, EPC Project.


Job Responsibilities:
The Contract Engineer, assigned to projects, shall be responsible for ensuring group’s compliance with the contractual requirements and provide day-to-day support to the Contract Manager/ Project Team for the proper administration of the contract.


His main duties and responsibilities shall be:
1. Preparation of Contract Summary during Bid Stage and highlight the deviations vis-à-vis the Group Contractual requirements. Participate along with Proposal Manager(s) on resolution/ acceptance of the same with the Client.

2. Prepare a consolidated analysis of the Contract Terms and Conditions incorporating the changes along with the rights and obligations of Client and company for the purpose of execution of the contracts. As the work proceeds, the Contract Engineer shall assist the Contract Manager/ Project Manager in the management of these contract conditions as they arise.

3. Prepare the kick off meeting deliverables and participate in the Project Kick off meeting.

4. Participate in project meetings to oversee the contractual compliance and identify opportunities of Change Orders.

5. Provide to the procurement manager and subcontract manager a flow-down of contractual requirements to ensure compliance for procurement and subcontracting activities.

6. Ensure compliance of contract terms with respect to Invoicing/ Billing to the Client.

7. Assist the Project Manager in the preparation and negotiation of the changes to the contract baseline including change management.

8. Work with the project team to identify Client’s actions or otherwise, which could result in contract changes and assist the Project Manager in their resolution with respect to additional compensation and time through changes management.


Qualification : Graduate Engineer in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering

Experience : 5-8 Years in Contracts Management in an EPC organization
