"Head of Maintenance - Rotating Equipment/Offshore"
Key Objectives:
• Management of Maintenance and Inspection of all offshore mechanical and rotating equipment. Ensuring that the facilities integrity, reliability, availability and maintain ability of the relevant mechanical, lifting cranes, rotating equipment are optimised, so that production targets can be achieved.
• The post holder is the interface between the Offshore Maintenance workforce and the Onshore Support Technical Group, and is a direct report of the Technical Integrity & Reliability Team Leader. As such, Post holder will be required to have an in depth and broad knowledge of both Oil and Gas Production and Maintenance, together with an FPSO Maintenance background. Post holder has the responsibility for all rotating equipment such as; Pumps, Compressors, Turbo-Machinery, Cranes, etc… on the aspects of Maintenance and Plant availability/ reliability.
• Knowledge of implementing and maintaining a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is necessary, and Post holder advises personnel with specific skill sets, within and out of the Operation Department. Post holder actively supports all personnel in the roll of Mentor.
• Budgetary inputs are a specific part of the Post holder s responsibility and they are accountable for ensuring budgetary targets are met, within the restraints imposed by the Company management system.
• As part of the Offshore-Onshore support group, Post holder shall actively promote the development of specific, assigned Discipline Engineers to a level of competence and professionalism.
• To contribute to “Operational Excellence” a business improvement programme aimed at implementing world-class maintenance performance (paradigm shift from time based to condition based maintenance).
• Responsible for the safe and efficient offshore operation of the field maintenance and the technical integrity of the facility.
• To manage all human resources available to the maintenance group and develop and maintain a flexible and effective work culture where all employees and contractors strive to achieve the Company Business Plan.
• To ensure that the maintenance of all equipment and utilities are managed safely and efficiently and with minimal environmental impact in accordance with legislation and the Management System.
Experience:
• Significant knowledge of marine, production and engineering and maintenance management to be able to manage all aspects of the Field operation.
• 15 year experience in the heavy shipping industry or offshore hydrocarbon production industry environment in a supervisory/ management capacity.
• A minimum of 10 years experience in the maintenance of associated machinery with hydrocarbon production and offshore production floating facilities in a supervisory/management capacity.
