Safety Officer / Supervisor x 5 (Shipyard / Marine / Oil & Gas/ / Construction / RSO)

Safety Officer / Supervisor x 5

Job Duties:
- Ensures that all operations conform to HSE requirements and maintains high safety standards
- Carries out gas monitoring of vessels
- Issue of various permits-to-work and identification of unsafe acts, unsafe conditions both onboard vessels and in workshops
- Carries out fire fighting and rescue operations.
- Supervise the safe, efficient operation of the job in accordance with the yard's Health, Safety & Environmental plans
- Ensure reporting of all accidents/incidents, and investigate them involving their men.


Skills Requirements / Relevant Experience:
- Min. GCE "O" Levels with 3 Credit including Science subjects
- Confined Space Assessor / Shipyard Safety Assessor / Safety Coordinator Certificate
- Candidates who are Registered Safety Officer (RSO Certified) are preferred
- BCSS / MOM registered preferred
- Able to supervise a team of workmen
- Able to work with Foreigners
