Down Stream Safety Supervisor

A major Oil and Gas Operator is seeking a Downstream Safety Supervisor located in Whiting, IN. The Safety Supervisor will provide expert knowledge and skills in order to generate and promote a positive health and safety culture in the oil and gas industry. The candidate must have a minimum of 5-10 onsite Refinery experience as a Safety Supervisor.

Candidates must fulfil the following criteria;
• Oversee project safety programs under project safety manager.
• Develop site specific safety plans and procedures.
• Working knowledge of OSHA Safety Regulation.
• Proficient in construction safety training.
• 5-10 years experience as a Safety Supervisor.
• H.S Diploma; OSHA 500; First Aid & CPR certified. EMT and CSST Certified.
• Refinery Experience is a MUST!!!!

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand occasionally; the employee will be required to walk for 2-4 hours at a time.
