'Sr Cost Engineer'

A major Owner currently has a need for a Senior Cost Engineer to join its team in Saint John's, Newfoundland.

Roles and responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to the following:
- Update monthly Cost reports, including control of committed/incurred/forecasted costs
- Facilitate Monthly stewardship meeting
- Control and input of Contract P.O's / requisitions
- Set-up and control of WAF's / job numbers
- Updates tracking or Owners Staffing costs
- Assist with development, maintenance and progression of cost estimates
- Assist with project cost structure and budget development
- Accountable for cost stewardship including reporting of committed, incurred and forecasted amounts
- Actively manage contractor costs
- Prepare cost updates to align with management reporting requirements (weekly and monthly)
- Support financial reporting requirements related to the Project

To qualify for this position, you must possess the following skills/experience:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel / Access focus)
- Technical background (Engineering degree preferred)
- Knowledge of project management activities
- Familiar with SAP R3
- 10+ years Offshore Oil and Gas Industry experience
