'Lead Civil Engineer'

A prominent Oil and Gas Firm is looking for a Lead Civil Structural Engineer to work in California. The ideal candidate should have a Masters in Civil Engineering with experience in working on large construction sites with a strong focus on HSSE. The Senior Civil and Structural Engineer will serve as a core member of the engineering team and work as part of an entrepreneurial, innovative, inclusive and cohesive team committed to building an exciting new project. The post holder will be accountable for all civil, structural and architectural work and act as a Technical Authority for Civil and Structural work.

The role requirement for this position is as follows.

• Knowledge of California Seismic Design requirements
• Capable of working interactively with other disciplines
• Detailed knowledge of the application of ASTMS standards for civil/structural works
• Performance driven, disciplined and rigorous approach to achieving project goals.
• Proactive approach to problem solving.
• Able to modify and manipulate data and drawings using Intergraph or AutoCAD software.
• As this is a Technical Authority role, the candidate is likely to be a registered engineer or equivalent
• Experience of working on major projects (in client or main contractor role).
