We are currently taking applicants for the following position:
HSE MANAGER
Education: Minimum Bachelor Degree (S1), preferable from Occupational HSE / Public Health / Environment Engineering.
Requirements:
1.Male
2.Previous experience in a similar role preferably in multinational companies with multi-sites, 10 years+ total working experiences in mining
3.Formal training in Safety and Risk Management, Internal audit and familiar with the Behavior Based Safety (BBS) concept
4.Good communication and presentation skills including report writing skills – English is mandatory
5.Able to travel to projects and sites
6.Work extended hours to meet section deadlines and emergency situations
7.Computer literate (MS Office)
Responsibilities:
1.Establish HSE policy, procedures and standards that comply with industry standards and regulations in order to support the company’s operations effectively and efficiently
2.Develop HSE short and long-term programs, including awareness programs, certification programs, which are in line with the company short and long term plans, as well as the industry standards in order to achieve the HSE departmental objectives optimally and in a cost-efficient manner
3.Develop the HSE management system, including inspection system and HSE audit system in order to support HSE programs implementation effectively and efficiently
4.Coordinate with all business line managers and field HSE representatives when implementing HSE programs
5.Review, update and communicate the company’s Safety Inductions in line with the 11 key elements
6.Monitor and control HS statistic records in the "In Control" system and present the trend analysis from the statistics to ensure the HS database is updated and analyzed
7.Improve and evaluate all areas of risk assessment, hazard management, project HS systems and training within business units by regularly visiting and developing initiatives to ensure the project response or control in their project HS risk
8.Support and assist the site administrator or HR manager in the injury management process and commercial department in insurance claims to ensure Injury Management processes are completed properly and there are no rejections from the insurance company
9.To improve environmental performance and maintain third party accreditation (i.e. ISO 14001) and work effectively with the certification body
10.Continuously monitor HSE practices within the company’s operations and evaluate the performance of the existing HSE policy, procedures and programs in order to identify possible obstacles / ineffectiveness and improve the program within time
