'Senior Engineer Loss Prevention - Bangkok'

My Client is looking for an Asian expatriate for this role. The expected daily rate is ranging from *450 to 600 USD* net to the successful candidate, all inclusive (housing, local transportation, schooling).

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain standards, procedures, philosophy and guidelines related to loss prevention engineering which is at least equivalent to national regulation and international best practice.

Provide consultation and apply loss prevention process throughout all phases of project development including exploration, conceptual studies, pre-project, engineering design, construction and installation, commissioning and start-up, development drilling, production and facilities management, and abandonment. This is included but not limited to:
Study and evaluation of modifications
Assessment of the safety deviations
Assessment of the Downgraded Situations
Facilitate, review and provide advice on specific safety studies regarding loss prevention engineering for Projects, Assets and Divisions as necessary.

Use appropriate software and tools for safety analysis, calculation and
design aids.

Investigate High Potential Incident/ Accident and provide advice on preventive measures and remedial actions then ensure all actions are closed out properly.

Perform regular audit for compliance with SSHE Management System including
Loss Prevention and Risk Assessment Standard.

Qualifications and Requirements:
-Bachelors Degree in Engineering.
-Good understanding of oil and gas exploration and production process.
-10-15 years experience as Loss Prevention Engineer
-10-15 years experience in onshore or offshore work.
-Have a comprehensive knowledge in loss prevention process, safety study and
safety analysis techniques such as;
-Facilitate or lead HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, JSA, QRA, SIMOPS, BOWTIE.
-Develop, implement and update Safety Case.
-Perform projects technical review and operation technical review
-Ability to use safety analysis software i.e. FRED, BOWTIE, etc.
-Understand the incident/ accident investigation techniques.
-Good knowledge of industry Codes, Standards and legislation on SSHE aspect.
-Strong leadership skills and good communication skills
-Good command of spoken and written English
