Department: Operations.
Location: Offshore.
Reporting to: Production Superintendent.
Direct Report Position : CCR Operator & Production Operator.
Responsibilities:
* The Production Supervisor is responsible for operating of the FACILITY’s process systems, associated equipment and utilities safely, with minimal environmental impact in accordance with legislation, class, flag and the Safety and Operations Management System.
* Responsible for all production activities while in charge of a shift.
List of Duties
The Production Supervisor duties include, where appropriate, but not limited to:-
* Supervise and carry out first line maintenance and isolations on the VESSEL / FACILITY. Assist the Maintenance department in carrying out maintenance of process equipments and utilities
* Be familiar with the and VESSEL / FACILITY process plants safe operation and ensure that he has knowledge of safety requirements, including work permit systems, operational and emergency procedures, Company policy and instructions and that the production staff under his control are aware of and understand them.
* Ensure that all information entered in logs, reports, production records and Computerized Maintenance System is accurate and conforms to the Facility Management System.
* Liaise with VESSEL / FACILITY Maintenance Superintendent for stores and spare gear and monitor consumption.
* Gather and compile data for daily production reports and maintain a comprehensive log of all production activities.
* Perform gas tests and isolations as per permit to work and safe entry permits specific to the process systems.
* Carry out various laboratory analysis oil/water, SRB cultivation, cooling water tests, etc. in accordance with procedures.
* Monitor and maintain chemical injection equipment and monitor dosage rates of process fluids/gas efficiently.
* To perform oil quality testing when required.
* Monitor pipe work condition via corrosion probe readings, ultrasonic thickness checks, iron counts and maintain Prosafe Corrosion Management Plan.
* To supervise and support contractors activities onboard and ensure work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner and in compliance with Facility Management System.
* Must perform Emergency Response Duties as deemed necessary by the company.
Qualifications
* Engineering trade, hydrocarbons production or other relevant qualification
Experience
* Experience as production technician on similar facility with experience in the operation and maintenance of process equipment.
* Experience with Integrated Management Systems and Computerized Planned Maintenance Systems preferred.
General
* Good personal and interpersonal skills, fluency in English and culturally aware with experience of working with multi-cultural workforce preferred.
