Job Description:
·Planning And Development Of The Project And The Piping Layout Discipline Engineering Documents, Engineering Schedules And Budgets And The Continuous Monitoring Of These Documents.
·Review And Approve Piping Design Work Not Limited To Layouts, Piping Class And Specifications, Pipe Routings And Piping General Arrangement Drawings, All Type Of Pipe Supports, Pipe Stress Analysis And Reporting, Interfaces, 3-D Modelling And Associated Databases, Catalogues, Isometrics Generated, Etc.
·Co-Ordinate, Control And Supervise All Engineering, Design And Materials Control Work Carried Out For The Project By His Group.
·Ensure Technical Adequacy Of Engineering And Design Consistent With Economy, Good Engineering Practice, Safety In Design And Specific Requirements Of The Project.
·Ensure That Design Changes Are Dealt With Promptly And Systematically And Highlight Any Jobs Performed, Which Could Be Considered A Change Order To The Project Manager.
·Ensure Compliance With The Prescribed Company, Clients And Other Standards And Local Statutory Regulations.
·Examine And Monitor Allocated Project Man-Hour And Expenditure Of Man-Hour And Institute Remedial Measures When Necessary.
·Assist In The Preparation Of Commissioning, Operating And Maintenance Manuals As Required By The Project.
·Provide Response To Queries From Fabrication Yards / Assembly Shops.
