'Security Coordinator for Multinational Oil & Gas Company'

One of our clients, a Multinational Oil & Gas Company is looking for Security Coordinator with minimum 5 years experience in the same industry.

Organizational Structure/Purpose

•The incumbent will be responsible for all security matters in Indonesia and particularly the personnel security and plant security at field. The incumbent will report to the Indonesia General Manager (for Indonesia general security policy and implementation)and the UP Plant Manager for plant specific security matters. The
incumbent will report to Corporate Security for functional support on corporate security policy and implementation.
•Externally the incumbent will maintain Company good standing with Government organizations with regard to Company security obligations and will maintain a support network to allow rapid government support in the event of a security incident.
•The Security Officer will work closely with the Company Government Relations and Community Relations staff to ensure cooperative and constructive security engagement with the communities within which we work.
•The Security Officer shall oversee all third party and direct hire security personnel employed by the company in Indonesia

The Security Officer role is intended to be dominantly advisory and persuasive rather than dictatorial in style and it is key that the incumbent should have the interpersonal skills to match with this.

Key Responsibilities
1.Provide leadership to assure a secure and safe workplace and promote optimal physical security of employees, assets, documents and operational and related facilities by implementing Company and Government Security and Safety procedures.
2.Work with all stakeholders to Develop and Implement a Security Management System for Company field operations (to include Operations, Plant Management and EHS Department); implement ISPS Code (Security standard for Ship and Port). Evaluate physical security of onshore and offshore facilities, offices, and accommodation including CCTV, access control, etc
3.The Security Officer will work closely with the Company GovernmentRelations and Community Relations staff to ensure cooperative and constructive security engagement with the communities within which we work and develop a fit for purpose security mapping plan.
4.Work with all stakeholders to plan, implement and train for all security systems for possible escalation conditions from normal up to abnormal. Organize and arrange an appropriate security information system. Control and coordinate all aspects of the
workers, facilities and materials security. Take a leading role in Emergency Response (ER) planning and execution.
5.Put in place systems to detect, prevent, stop, investigate and report any security incidents (theft, robbery, fighting, loss, bomb threats, kidnapping, drug abuse, internal theft, computer crime, etc). Put in place a security lessons learnt process: assessment,evaluation, remedy, with documented follow-up.
6.Work closely with Management to anticipate any labor disruptions,strikes, riots, mass demonstrations, and other escalation of normal working conditions.
7.Maintain Company good standing with Government organizations (such as BPMIGAS) with regard to the Company security obligations and maintain a support network to allow rapid government support in the event of a security incident. Liaise with external security advisory services, security experts in other companies and
embassies.
8.Manage all third party and direct hire security personnel employed by the company in Indonesia
9.Ensure that domiciled and visiting employees received adequate security briefings
