CONTRACTS ENGINEER
Education: Bachelor Degree (S1) from Engineering discipline.
Requirements:
1. Minimum 5 years experienced as a Contracts Engineer.
2. Certified quantity surveyor / engineer.
3. Experienced in contracts administration.
4. Computer literate.
5. Fluent English - oral & written.
6. Able to work under pressure.
7. Attention to details.
8. Highly motivated & able to work under minimum supervision..
9. Team player & good communication skills.
Responsibilities:
• Assist Contracts Manager and Bid Manager review contracts at the Tender stage giving input to the Bid Manager regarding the contract composition and any qualifications required to align conditions to Petrosea contracting guidelines
• Assist Contracts Manager in developing appropriate contractual strategies to maximise contract position
• Provide logistical support to Project Managers in resolving contractual issues with the Client, including drafting formal letters and attending negotiations of a contractual nature.
• Provide support to Project Managers with the preparation and documentation of variations and claims to their scope of work and
successfully negotiate these to settlement, including a running log of all contractual correspondence to settlement.
• Ensure that the Client and Petrosea follow the contractual requirements of the contract such that Petrosea is not exposed to unnecessary costs or penalties.
SENIOR STRUCTURE ENGINEER
Education: Minimum Bachelor Degree (S1) in Civil Engineering
Requirements:
1. Strong background in Engineering and Construction (E&C) for infrastructure projects preferably in Mining and Mineral Industries.
2. Minimum of 8 years experience in related area.
3. Demonstrated competency in the use of structure design software, such as Staad Pro.
4. Knowledge on fabrication and construction works would be an advantage.
5. Able to operate Microsoft Windows Application
6. Familiarity with relevant Indonesian Codes and Regulations as well as International Standards..
7. Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats.
8. Highly motivated self-starter with technical and personal initiative.
9. Proven analytical, logical reasoning and problem solving abilities..
10. HSE awareness.
11. Results oriented.
12. Quality focus driven by Standard and Procedure compliance.
13. Ability to work effectively and productively within a diverse team.
Responsibilities:
1. Basic design layout of foundations and foundations type selection considering geotechnical condition and applied loads.
2. Design and calculation of foundations.
3. Type of structures selection, concrete or steel, source of material availability, constructability, design ability fit to purpose.
4. Design of steel structures, concrete structures, members sizing, connections details.
5. Structure selection and design of retaining walls including sheet piles structures.
6. Review and finalize drawings.
7. Review geotechnical report and data and make engineering judgment for further design process.
8. Preparations of specifications for foundations, steel and concrete constructions.
9. Support tender and selection of specialist design consultants.
10. Ensure HSE standards are integrated as part of the design solutions.
11. Ensure Company Standard and Procedure are followed.
