Responsibilities:

Position 1: Senior / Project Engineer (Indonesia/ Abu Dhabi)

The applicant must hold at least a Bachelor Degree in Engineering with minimum 3 years relevant working experience in Onshore/Offshore Cranes, Lifting and support service activities. Those with more years of relevant experience will be offered a senior position.

You will contribute to the company’s sales effort, through direct client contact and meetings, with particular focus on target customers as defined within the company business plan. Duties will involve assisting with the compilation and cost control of the business unit budgets, preparing of proposals and tenders, completing purchase requisitions, preparing engineering invoice drafts and managing financial control of assigned project whilst identifying areas for business development.

You will also be responsible for contributing to the quarterly performance reviews with line management regarding the department’s services to enable accurate review of business unit performance.

You will be required to visit sites and offshore installations, during which you will promote and maintain effective communications with Client representatives as well as Sparrows personnel.


Position 2: Lifting Equipment Specialist (Indonesia/ Abu Dhabi)

Main responsibility is to co-ordinate Safe Lifting Operations at the Client’s sites.

You are required to develop and maintain up to date Site’s Handling & Lifting Procedures/Instructions in compliance with current HSE and legislative requirements. Also, you will need to co-ordinate and schedule load testing of cranes. Review inspection results and carry out corrective action as required. Co-ordinate and schedule regular, periodic and annual inspections/audits of lifting equipments.

In addition, you will need to review work methods, processes and procedures to increase reliability and efficiency of lifting operations and reduce maintenance costs. Maintain extensive filing system and technical library on equipment and facility manuals, parts books, drawings and vendor catalogues.

Minimum 5 years relevant working experience with at least technical high school certification.


Position 3: Crane Operator (Korea/ Abu Dhabi)


Preferably possess Stage 3 Sparrows Offshore Crane Operator certificate or it’s equivalent.

You will be expected to competently operate platform Pedestal Cranes under the direction of nominated client personnel in accordance with the authorized operator’s instruction manual, platform operating procedures and the company’s Quality Assurance Manual.

You will also be required to carry out daily routine first line crane maintenance duties including rope change-outs, greasing, lubrication, oil changes and other crane machinery lubrication duties in accordance with the maintenance routines, manufacturers manuals and service charts.


Position 4: Crane Mechanic (Indonesia / Abu Dhabi)—


You should have completed a recognized Mechanical Apprenticeship with an Engineering background. The role requires experience of installation, maintenance and fault finding on a range of mechanical equipment. Experience of reading mechanical/hydraulic drawings required.

Main responsibility is to carry out maintenance duties offshore as directed by the Crane Supervisor. Responsible for effectively carrying out scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance of all offshore cranes/lifting equipment with the objective of maintaining safe operations.

Previous offshore/crane maintenance experience is preferable for these posts, however consideration will be given to candidates with substantial onshore crane maintenance experience.


Position 5 Crane Inspector (Indonesia)

Main responsibility is to audit Lifting Equipments (cranes, forklift, lifting appliance, lifting gear, etc) as per company regulations and policy. Conducting planned (six monthly) and unplanned audit (Ad-hoc).

At least a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or other engineering discipline) with a solid background in crane and lifting equipment inspection; OR combination of technical high school majoring in mechanical and minimum 5 years experiences for onshore and offshore oil field operation, particularly in crane inspection / re-certification. Familiar with crane and lifting inspection, relevant standard, rules and specifications (government regulation and international standards/codes).

Basic Function:
